Why Drones?

One of the advantages of using a drone for aerial application is it enables us to apply herbicide in areas that might be difficult to reach using traditional application methods. For example, it might be unsafe or impractical to use an ATV or backpack sprayer to treat steep, rocky, and uneven areas. Our drone can treat these areas with ease. Likewise, powerlines, close property lines, or irregularly shaped parcels may make it difficult to use traditional aerial application methods like airplanes and helicopters. Our drone is small and nimble enough to treat those places planes and helicopters cannot. It can achieve centimeter precision, ensuring that chemical is sprayed where you want it, and only where you want it.

While our drone shines in areas where other methods fall short, drone application isn’t just for difficult to reach areas. Many people are surprised to learn how efficient drone spraying is and that it is a viable option to treat larger areas. We treat areas from 5 acres to 100+. Our drone can spray 25 acres per hour at a rate of 2 gallons per acre, which is much faster than a backpack sprayer or ATV.
